摘要: In this talk, we consider the nematic liquid crystal flow (NLCF) which couples strongly the forced Navier-Stokes equation and the transported harmonic map heat flow in two dimensions. We shall study how finite-time singularities form in (NLCF) with different boundary conditions. Interior bubbling phenomenon will be shown in the Dirichlet case, while both interior and boundary bubbling phenomena will be investigated for (NLCF) with partially free boundary. This talk is based on joint works with C.-C. Lai, F. Lin, Y. Sire, C. Wang and J. Wei.
报告人简介:
周一夫,约翰斯霍普金斯大学西尔维斯特助理教授,2020年博士毕业于英属哥伦比亚大学,师从魏军城教授。主要研究方向为非线性椭圆与抛物方程中的凝聚与爆破现象,在CPAM, Math Ann, CVPDE, JDE等期刊发表论文多篇。
